Snowflake Crafts

Since it’s wintertime and I’m in between holidays, I’ve been doing snowflake crafts with my kids, especially since this snowflake craft was such a success! Unlike the last one where we used coffee filters, this snowflake is made out of pasta. You gotta love snowflake crafts you can make with items from your pantry! So if you too are looking for snowflake crafts, here’s another one to try.

Snowflake Crafts

Here’s What You Need to Make This Snowflake Craft:

  • Wagon wheel pasta
  • Glue
  • Wax paper
  • Ribbon

Here’s How to Make This Snowflake Craft:

1. Place a sheet of wax paper on the table to work on.

(It’s best to use wax paper instead of regular paper because it’s easier to remove the snowflake from wax paper after the glue dries.)

2. Arrange the wagon wheel pasta into a snowflake.

(Since every snowflake is unique, this is where kids can have fun with their snowflake design.)

3. Without moving the snowflake, apply glue to where the pieces of wagon wheel pasta connect.

4. Allow the snowflake to dry overnight.

5. Slowly peel the snowflake from the wax paper.

6. Add a piece of ribbon to hang the snowflake as a window decoration.

Snowflake crafts are a great way winter activity for kids, especially if it’s too cold outside to play or there isn’t any snow to play with. If you’re looking for more winter activities, I recommend sock snowmen, winter puzzles and an indoor scavenger hunt.

Nice! I sped up the process by using a hot glue gun. Thanks again!
