Overdue Link Love for Stuff You’ll Love

This post is the very last thing on my list before I get to step away from my computer for two full days (yeah, right. I try, at least…). This post is also LONG overdue!

**Court Tuttle recently launched a social bookmarking niche site just for bloggers called BloggingZoom. It’s like Sphinn and Sk-rt, but unless you are a blogger, it’s not for you. Also, Court tells me that users are encouraged to submit their own articles, unlike on some other sites in which you get called a spammer even if someone else submits your stuff.

Link LoveSomeone submitted two of my articles last week and although I got only about 50 visitors, 60% of them were new to this site. I was pleasantly surprised considering BloggingZoom is less than a month old!

**Intuit is releasing a free version of their must-have software QuickBooks called QuickBooks Simple Start Edition 2008. They are also giving away a $50,000 grant to help someone pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. I want one of you to win!

**I have found a local eMom who lives practically within walking distance of my house (woo-hoo!!!). She runs an eCommerce store called NitroToyz, which is a niche toy store full of unbelievably cool remote control cars, trucks and helicopters. If you are planning on buying anything like this for the holidays, please consider supporting another work at home mom!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :D

There are also a lot of Stumblers in the Blogging Zoom community. It’s been the most effective thing I have tried.

Just letting everyone know we launched our ebook that focuses on the basics of telecommuting and teaches you how to find legitimate work at home jobs through various sources like craigslist. It goes A LOT more in-depth than that and I highly suggest anyone who’s looking to learn to work from home to check it out. Best of all, you can set the price you want to pay for it. No gimmicks or scams.

You can find the book for sale at

Will definitely be looking into the Quickbooks grant. Fantastic!

That’s great you’ve found another eMom so close to you. I also think it’s important to help support other work at home moms & will definitely visit her store.

Ok, gotta comment - quickbooks is great if you really want to, as a self-employed person who has a complex business (inventory, cogs issues, want to manage investments); however, I’m hoping most people who get their “entrepreneur” on, would like our model - you get a work at home mom, who is also an epaperchase partner to do your expenses. You manage the inflow, they account and track your outflow. We’re going into beta sometime in January and going a month after. We hope our actual production site looks as great as emomsathome!
