You probably already knew, but BlogHer is coming to Chicago this summer! Woot!
I think we’re totally spoiled this year between SOBCon and BlogHer happening here in Chicago. Us Flatlanders have it made this summer!
There’s some good info BlogHer just released this week on conference and accomodation details. The event is at Navy Pier, which is seriously one of my favorite touristy places to go. And the grand ballroom is on the end of the pier, with views of the city to die for. It’s the perfect venue for this exciting event.
Since I’m local, if you have any travel or logistics questions about coming here for either event, just drop me a line. If you plan on bringing the family, there is plenty to do here, and everyone will have a blast. Be sure to check out Millenium Park, the world-class museums, and if you are willing to travel just a bit, Six Flags opened their new Hurricane Harbor up in Gurnee just last year.
Most of all, I really can’t wait to meet so many of you in person. Meeting bloggers face to face is so important to me - so please be sure to let me know if you’re coming to town so that we get to put a name to a face!
