Winter Kid Activity: Packing Peanuts Craft

Christmas Day has come and gone. The presents are being played with, being worn or being returned! :) What’s left is the clutter. Tons of it! The worst clutter for me though are those little packing peanuts that came in all the boxes sent to us. While I really appreciate the gifts, those little styrofoam things make me nuts!

My daughter on the other hand sees them as cool craft materials. It’s all about perspective, isn’t it?

She transformed annoying packing peanuts into beautiful works of art!

My daughter made all of these creations by just dampening each packing peanut with a sponge and sticking the pieces together.

So if your kids are looking for a post-Christmas activity, and you’re looking to get rid of some of the clutter, pass the packing peanuts to your kids! You’ll be amazed with what they come up with!

You know, I’m a big fan of recycling these things, but I never thought of turning them into a craft project. You are so creative!
