Thanksgiving Kid Activity: Word Scramble

I’m busy trying to plan our menu for Thanksgiving and what desserts I want to bake. But I really don’t know why I entertain the notion of varying the menu. Everyone in my family loves the basic Thanksgiving meal! So with the exception of a varied vegetable or two, I already know what we’re going to have. Lasagna. Kidding!

Anyway, my girls don’t know I’ve already decided what we’re having for Thanksgiving dinner. Well, it’s possible they know we’re having turkey; they’re pretty bright kids! So I thought it would be fun to have them use this Thanksgiving Word Scramble to figure out what we’re going to have for Thanksgiving dinner. Like our menu, it has all the traditional Thanksgiving foods listed.

I like this Thanksgiving kid activity not only because it challenges my kids’ minds, but it allows me to shake up my menu, even if only on paper!
