As I sat down to review our posts for the week, I noticed that we hit on a pretty wide variety of topics.  I mean, we used the word “poop” in “Potty Training for Freelancers,” for crying out loud.  We did talk about the idea of getting more focused with “Becoming a Specialized Freelancer,” although we got there by way of complaining about people who give themselves a little too much credit in “Just Because You Can Type, It Doesn’t Mean You’re a Writer.” 

So, I had to chuckle when I came across this fitting quote from E.L. Doctorow: 

“Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.” 

 

The truth:  This was one of the most fun weeks I’ve had blogging here.  Maybe it’s because of the crazy assortment of topics, or perhaps it’s because of the interaction of you folks.  Either way, I’m fairly well enjoying my schizophrenia.
